Article Value immunity of architectural education in the age of digital transformation
Authors Ermolaev A.P., Shulika T.O., Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy), Moscow, Russia
Abstract The active introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, algorithms, and parametric modeling tools into the educational and professional process raises fundamental questions about the content and methods of architectural education. What remains for a human architect when a machine has learned to “think” in images, generate concepts, optimize forms, and even anticipate aesthetic preferences? It is precisely at this turning point, when technological tools risk replacing the core of the profession – creative method and personal worldview – that it becomes critically important to turn to time-tested pedagogical systems focused on the development of the author. The article reveals the features of the TAF Workshop methodology with its emphasis on value systems in design, offering not an alternative to digital progress, but rather its necessary philosophical and methodological basis.
Keywords: digital transformation, artificial intelligence, methodology of architectural education, value systems, TAF Workshop, modernization of thinking
